There are also part time and full time diploma degree programme in English and Italian Languages. For English Language Diploma, students have to attend one year and for students who attend the Italian Language in Diploma Degree have to spend two years.
Under the part time diploma degree program, apart from Languages in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Thai, Diploma in Linguistics is now offered in YUFL as postgraduate diploma programme. All languages in part time programmes require four years to complete the degree.
Currently in June 2019, under the Center for Human Resource Development, two newly postgraduate diploma programmes have been introduced; Diploma in China Studies (Two year programme) and Diploma in International Relations (One year programme).
As a language-oriented university, YUFL is well-known in its certificate programme for postgraduate degree holders. Programme of Certificate in Interpretation Course (English) needs to spend 6 months to get certificate. For French Language, Certificate in Translation and Interpretation Course (French) has to spend 6 months to complete the programmes.
There are some programmes targeting to students who have just passed but waiting to join the university. High School graduate students can also join such certificate programmes as Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Thai languages.

Myanmar as Foreign Language for Foreigners in YUFL
One of the unique natures of YUFL is Myanmar Language as foreign language which is offered to foreign students only. Like other programmes focused on local students, Myanmar language for foreign students being offered in degree programmes in Bachelor, Diploma and Certificate. For Bachelor degree, student has to spend four years while Diploma degree needs two years and Myanmar Language Proficiency in Basic, Intermediate and Advance Levels needs one year to complete the courses.
The like HRD programme in other languages, there are certificate courses on Myanmar Language for foreigners who have to spend six months for Basic I and another three months for Basic II.
